Alky Control is the way to go, and if running a PD blower it should be referenced to the MAF, not the MAP.

Maybe this is the right thread to ask this... just trying to increase me knowledge
Can someone explain what these meth kits are to me? do they reduce engine life? what are the requirements to get one? how do they work... etc etc...

2 - $$$ 3 - It's like having race fuel when you floor it but normal gas when just cruising around. For what it's worth I have had a snow stage3 for about a year with no problems.

1: Much higher octane rating. 2: Can cool the intake charge. Technically in and of its self there is no reduction in life to any parts. Although there are rumors of people hurting the coatings on the rotors of PD Blowers. (Which i havn't had a problem with.) As far as requirements, you can add methanol to just about anything and see some form of gains. (as long as tuning is involved). However it is typically reserved for engines with some form of boost and/or high dynamic cylinder compression ratios. Hope this helps Thanks Mike Haddad |
