The z06 is faster than the M6, but in rest of the aspects, including interior, cargo space, people space, and IMO, looks, I think the M6 is better. The GT500 is a ripoff at 41k. You could probably negotiate a dealer down to around 42-43k on a brand new gt500, so paying 41k for an older, not to mention old body style, is a ripoff. The M5 is a ripoff at that price also. I know of a dealer selling a same year M5 with 30k miles for 42k, and you get the same engine in the M6 with better looks. The Benz is nice, but once again, it's an old model, and that supercharged engine doesn't even exist anymore. They came out with the 63, which is naturally aspirated and is in a lot more models now, and the M6 is a much better handler. As for the RAM, you were kidding, right? And as for the Cadillac, it loses in all aspects of performance, and it loses in styling. So, there you go, M6 FTW |

Well you're financing a car as it is. If you spent 20K on mods on a new car you would have a car payment AND 20K in probably credit card debt that you spent on the mods. I still disagree with you on the statement about people beating up Z06's and GT500's. The M6 was built to go fast as well so why would nobody abuse that car but abuse the other 2? Big difference between buying a used Z06 and say a used SS Camaro. Same goes for the GT500 and the Mustang GT. A lot of people buy the Z06 and Shelby as status symbols and don't take them to the track every weekend, not all but the vast majority. |

Without being bias I would say the M6, since I own one of those.
Here the thing the M6 is a great car, I have had zero problems with it for 4 years now and I'm at 57,000 miles with it. Z06, let me know if you are interested because at one of the dealerships here they are selling them brand new for the price you have listed here at Pasty Lou in Flint, MI. All those cars you listed besides those two I mentioned I would not buy used. Heres the thing to think about though, can you afford the maintenance of the high teir cars. I will tell you keeping the M6 maintained can get quite expensive, try an oil change that cost 200 dollars once you are out of the maintenace warranty. If you can't afford the long-term maintenance on any those cars I would suggest you just get a brand new SS.

Really? Because there was a modded Z06 that is owned by a "Mustang Guy" that got it's clock cleaned by a Shelby GT500 down in San Antonio, twice, a few months ago. You state your opinions as facts. I'm puzzled at your lack of logic and reasoning. It's a 1 yr old car with 20,000 miles on it.

I'd go with the E55 or STS-V, then again I have an affinity for factory fi sedans Also, while the SCed motor in the Mercedes is no longer produced, it does NOT mean it's a bad motor or obsolete, it is a torque monster and factory FI means easy power. I am also a big fan of the M6 very sharp car. As for the SRT10 Ram, it is a great muscle truck that can run mid 13s in the 1/4 mile, haul 5 pwople comfortably and tow 6000 pounds and even handles pretty good, but be ready for expensive mods and 9 MPG average. I do agree the GT500 is a bit overpriced, heck a bunch of great choices, but they are all so diverse, is there something particular you are going to be using the vehicle for? Go drive them and decide which one makes you ffeel best, that is ALWAYS your best bet.

Anyways I'd go with the GT500 or the Z06. The Z06 is going to be quicker/faster, but the GT500 will give you luxury of a backseat. But if you just want a brand new car go with the loaded out 2SS. |

Of the cars listed I would get the M6. I have a 6 series and I just love this car. Of all the series of BMW's the 6 series has the least amount of problems. That V10 screaming towards redline is one of the best sounding engines on the planet.

I have an M5...and it is really a great car aside from the 12 mpg. The interior and all the toys make it really a lot of fun to drive. The price you give is way too high for that M5 with those miles on it...there are better ones out there for less $$$ that are BMW Certified. I would not touch EITHER of the BMW's without a certified warranty. The financing on the used BMW's should still be REALLY LOW... .9% or 1.9%... almost free money.
The Corvette is nice, but look at some newer cars for less money - 20,000 miles on a 1 year old vette is a lot. E55 is a nice car...don't know anything about it. $5,000 grand down on an SS and you would have a hot car that is easily modded and turns heads without the PRICK appeal of all of the other cars you listed...I can say that, I own one on the list ! |

Only reason I always tell you this is because thats what my friends tell me about mine also. So now I can say it to someone else, yes the V-10 screams just wish we could have more torque.
