I haven't checked into the V6 tuning issues in awhile but once HP let us know they had support for the 2012's we were interested again in getting our TT kit on a car. Why is a 2012 turbo car any more problematic than a 2012 SC car in regards to tuning? Or is this more to do with the earlier model years?

Everyone is still trying to figure out the throttle response in the tune.

I just asked HP if they were aware of any tune-related limitations/issues on the 2012 and he is going to ask around to make sure but nothing that he was aware of.

I am waiting on an email back to have 100% confirmation but so-far-so-good. Just don't want to get into another tuning "Road-block" on getting this TT Kit on a car. Hopefully it will go just like all the V8 cars do and it will start/finish in a few hours and make great power

If you have issues with HP you can try EFI Live. They've been really receptive to helping us with the new build.

Yep.. but what I really meant was a properly done turbo shouldn't require more maintenance... including aftermarket ones... lscamaro was kind of speaking in generalities, not just V6 Camaros... or at least that's the way I took it..

That being said, i doubt I will ever do aftermarket FI again... detuned factory FI is the way to go... just add a tune!

Superchargers are parasitic and steal power to make power. Turbos make power out of waste (exhaust) so they're inherently more efficient. Outside of drag racing you never see a supercharger on a race car.

Just wanted to give my .02 cents. Rode with sycraft and his IPF S/C v6 last night and I have to say Holy $hit does it move. It had so much torque and WILL snap your head back. The drivability was awesome too. This kit to me seems like a mature kit and if I went FI I would get this kit, no doubt.

Thanks again Sycraft, mad props to you and that Beast
