Anyone ever have that oh sh*t moment?

When modding your car past the point of no return, or etc....have you ever messed up the mod you were doing?

I just don't want to be the only one lol

Anybody?

I don't have as much experience doing installs as I would like, so my Firebird is where I intend to learn. Whenever I do something, which so far hasn't been often, I have someone with me to help avoid moments where I totally botch the mod. It's worked out well so far.

I've done that with the squeegee from tinting my tail lights! Agreed on the beer breaks

Not on mine. But I kinda do this for a living. My husbands TA was a guinea pig for me for awhile but I never really messed anything up beyond the point of no return. Had a few painting mishaps where I had to strip the piece and start over though. That was a pita.

Yea when I was installing my halos. First I thought to myself "What the hell am I doing putting a $1100 headlight in the freaking oven??? Am I crazy???". After I got over that fact when I was on the kitchen floor prying the hell out of the lens with a screw driver I heard something that I thought for sure was a crack in the lens......I couldnt look. Walked out of the room, or should I say stormed out of the room, grabbed a beer, came back a few minutes later and........all was good

Yea, so does he. He did it for the AAC halos.

I've never been at a point where I've messed something up that bad (knock on wood) but taking off the manifold I thought to myself "I better not mess up".

Yep I looked Down and I was doing 129 in a 45 :( That's when I said "O SH*&T this car has to go before I kill somebody or myself". I traded my 2010 2ss/rs for a 2012 Convertible V6.
