Jerico 4 speed going in the car
I got a deal on a Jerico. So I bought it and started the process 5 days ago and everything is done except for some clean up and minor stuff. Currently waiting on linkage and my new clutch disc for final assembly. This task turned out to be more than I expected for sure but i think this will be well worth it when it's done.

I don't have any pics after the cutting and massaging of the tunnel to clear the linkage but I will get some tomorrow. Should be racing next Saturday! If everything shows up on time

I only used 4th anyway eventually I may go to a 5 speed liberty. Also the price was right on the Jerico. Plus I don't ever street drive the car anymore really

Just curious about what has to be done with the yaw-sensor that controls the HSA feature that was under the console lid (can it be left out,put it back in or replace it with an auto-tranny one)? ...not that you’re gonna be launching uphill LOL

Is that the computer box with 2 big yellow plugs on it? I pulled fuse 40 and 43 and HSA didn't work after that anyway so I just took it out

Is this what you are talking about? It has airbags on it which I also pulled those fuses too so I had no issue. But you if I didn't remove it I was going to relocate it between the tunnel and the carpet because it was ugly. |
