I'm a legs and butt man, myself, but I do prefer the knob controls for HVAC. OP is going to have to figure out the new minimum setting on his AC to avoid premature breaking of the blend door.

Yeah I have the Scosche too, but I have the first version that has just the one larger climate control screen, not the dual split screens like your has. Mine has physical buttons instead of being full touch screen like your updated version. The version I have? It is ass. Very unresponsive touch panel and is buggy as hell. Also, it blocks so much of the quad pack gauges that it has become a major PITA.

The iDatalink KIT-CAM1 is so much better designed and packed with features. That thing is awesome and looks great too. Only thing is that you need to get a compatible head unit to take advantage of it.

The PAC unit looks to be a decent kit, but I think it's kinda fugly imo. I think it sets the screen too far back as well. There's also the Metra kit, but it's bare bones - although some may like that minimal look.

I’d rather go with the Maestro idatalink with a trusted brand HU before I’d risk Alibaba stuff if I didn’t care about knobs.
ME too!!!!!

How much was this unit? Do you have to send it off for programming?

A couple of people I follow on Instagram have this unit and love it. One is @weflyhere (use promo code WEFLYHERE50 to save at checkout) and the other is @tfbeecamaro. For these units, what I like most is the fact you can completely customize the Home Screen background and widget icons to compliment your own cars interior aesthetic like @tfbeecamaro did here:

But functionally and appearance wise, I still personally prefer the PAC Audio kit I have that allow for the upgraded screen technology with HVAC knobs that keep a somewhat stock interior look and feel similar to the Mylink version. I think each dash kit has its pros and cons but ultimately boil down to user specific personal preferences of priorities and values within the setup.

The company’s Instagram username is @digitaloctopusradio and they post live stories frequently about installation and features. They also have a YouTube page and here’s a couple of helpful videos from it about product overview and FAQ for anyone interested in knowing more info about it.
