Engine cover

Ok i know to take off the oil fill cap and pull forward the diver side pops right out but the passanger side will not move at all and cant the mass air flow sencer pulg to unclip and thought

If you have taken off the oil fill cap then all you need to do is pull up and then forward. Towards the front of the car.

Take the oil cap off and pull the front of the cover up. Use a little muscle if needed, you wont damage anything.

ok WV, I've got the same car (different color-IBM) and lived almost all my life in WV-so I walked out to the garage to check this out. You're right.

The engine cover is held down on the left side about 4inches back from the corner. Its a rubber grommett (donut) and there's a peg sticking up from the engine that slides in (tightly) to help the cover not move around.

Go ahead and pull up! you won't hurt anything, but it does feel solid, I can understand your hesitation.
