I pull my fuse now for track time. Airbag light comes on but who cares.
Do you know if there's been any owners that had the fuse/fuses pulled and still have them go off? I wouldn't care about a light on the dash. I'm actually looking at doing some track day events next year possibly. I mean if this fuse pull works then great. If not then I have some decisions to make with regards to my 1le.

Not that I heard about, but this forum is probably the best place to look.

I've also been concerned about this, planning to run autoX this summer. Some people say they pull the fuse, but there's no certainty it works. Other posts say it doesn't fully disable the system. BUT, I haven't seen any posts where the airbag has gone off with the fuse pulled. Don't ask me how, but I found a thread on a Hummer forum detailing the same problem with the same questions. Apparently one of those guys talked to a GM tech and he said pulling the fuse works, but there's a delay. Beware our fuse #s aren't the same as theirs, but the system design might be similar?

The Service Manual should identify the fuse(s) to pull to avoid activation. Tech's pull them when they are going to work on the systems.

My 2 cents
These are street cars that can go on a track. They are designed to err on the side of caution to save lives. This is driven by litigation.
When fish tailing and the car gets traction while traveling sideways, high side G forces are experienced. Even though for a very short time, it can be enough to trigger the bags.
The 1LE and ZL1 cars got different programming in relation to the yaw sensor output. What that is and when implemented, I do not know. I’d guess between early 2012 and mid 2013 for the 1LE/ ZL1 cars. Early ZL1s exhibited the symptoms.
I’d get a newer Z28 or 1LE yaw sensor and ask my dealer to verify the programming. Dealers were repairing some of the early cars, I don’t think there was a TSB on it though. Probably past warranty anyway now.

What fuse are folks pulling?

What fuse(s) are being pulled by the folks that are pulling fuses to disable the airbags when at the track?

Info that I found with a typical disclaimer: I'm not responsible for your actions or any outcomes. I am providing some, and quite possibly incomplete information...............

air bags are controlled by the Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module. it has multiple voltage & signal inputs
Instrument Panel Fuse Block:
F3 - constant on 12v
F24 - signal/voltage from Passenger Presence Module
Underhood Fuse Block:
F17 - switched 12v (key on)
F18 - signal/voltage from Passenger Air Bag Disable Module

Additionally there is two way communication between the SDM and Instrument Cluster
