JohnnyCamaro told us a while ago that the shifter will come without a knob (unless this has since changed?). You can add your own, or use the standard knob that the 6M comes with.

Is it a coincidence that the camaro is getting ready to be released AND GM released the 427 as a crate engine?! No its not sorry dont expect GM to release an LS7 in a camaro if you want one your going to have to buy and install the ls7 yourself! And if they do make an ls7 camaro Im going to be sending lots of hate mail to GM for not producing the 427 Silverado SS!

They won't put an LS7 in a Camaro from GM because it would compete too much with the Vette.

Secondly, the hood is flat black because this is a drag race car concept. Flat black keeps the light from reflecting off the hood into the driver's eyes.

One important difference, this LS7 isn't exactly like the 'vette, this one is wet sump (notice oil pan on the engine in the pictures and the dipstick under the concept car hood). I think that the original LS7 crate engine was dry sump.
