Zl1 grille

Hey everyone! I just purchased a 2012 LS a few days ago and man do I love this car. I actually got myself a birthday present, probably the best ever.

But here's my question. I saw on gmpartsdirect the zl1 grille part number 22893907. Will this bolt right up on my LS? I just think the straight across black grille looks a lot better than the stock one. Thanks in advance

You have to remove the front fascia/bumper. Check out the thread below. Instructions are for a heritage grille install but it's basically the same thing.

Just like CAMARO_SS_2012 said...follow the videos and youll be fine. It is really easy, from what I have heard the hardest part is getting the actual OEM grille off

I've done this swap. The hardest part is reaching the bolt at the upper corner of each fender. I wish I had seen the video linked above first. I recommend covering the entire surface of the bumper, as well as the leading edge of the fenders with painter's tape to prevent scratching the paint during removal and install.
