I did the same thing yesterday. I made a deal for a 2SS 45th Anniversary 6 speed with Ben at Capitol. It was well worth the drive there from Dayton Nevada. Well under invoice and a great finance rate.
The local dealers are thieves. one was 5k over invoice and the other would not budge off of msrp.
Call Ben there at Capitol and tell him Vince sent you...

i personally work at a family owned dealership in rochester ny, i would be glad to work with anyone looking not to get screwed on a camaro or any new chevy, we refuse to ever sell over sticker even new hot ticket items like the zl1. Their are plenty of greedy dealerships out there.

Might be buying a 2SS from Estero Bay Chevy in Estero FL next weekend, anyone have experience with them? They seem on par with what I've researched.

Thanks for any input!

I paid less than that for my 2011 2LT/RS with no discounts at all.

Go to www.edmunds.com and build your own Camaro. They will provide MSRP and dealer invoice. Most dealers should sell at invoice as they get other incentives directly from the manufactuer like holdback incentives etc.

The website is a good place to get a starting price so you can bargin with the dealer. Then there are other incentives like GM loyalty $500 and USAA $750.00 deductions.

The best contact there now is Paul Duran. He is the Fleet Sales Manager and has just made an amazing offer for AmericanMuscles. Well below invoice and a real good guy to deal with.
