Sweet thread stieger... Plastidip is way more popular than I would of thought. I'm tempted on doing my roof too, maybe the spoiler and some hood spears... But I'm not ready to jump in just yet.

Ive been seeing all of these plasti dip threads but never really paid them much attention until now.. I feel like ive been living under a rock lol. This stuff seems great especially because if you mess up you can just peel and try again. I dont know what I can use it for but im sure i'll think of something. Thanks for the write up.

Yep not a problem. The best part about this stuff is it comes in all different colors. If people are interested I can put an order in with a contractor I know and get a bunch of different colors for people. Up to you.

i did my front bumper all in about 10 min taped it off (took like half an hour) then paint, light coat 1min wait, light coat 1 min wait, then two heavy coats 1min apart, pull tape as soon as done. looks great no runs and no ruff edges. sorry bug guts on it (just to the right of center) my first time doing it, i did per the instuctions of this page and when i pulled the tape i was mad pulled plasti up with it so i tryed rush job and came out great. so much so i want to do more

I'd love this stuff if it came in gloss black. I would have taken my hood spears off and done them with this instead. Just sucks they only offer flat black.

I've purchased it, but still haven't done the taillight bezels... don't know how to do it exactly without getting dust or pollen in the plastidip... grrrrrr!

I wouldn't worry about dust or pollen. You should be fine. Unless you have a paint booth it isn't going be perfect. I did it outside and my wheels look fine, no pollen.
