Best Hood/Hood Modification For Heat Extraction

Which would be some of the best Hoods/Hood Modifications for heat extraction? ZL1, Hex Vents, Zstyle, etc.

Brilliant that looks awesome. Want to do hex vents instead of a new hood and like how you painted the mesh IOM. How hard was the install?

Anyone thought of using some Lumina Z34 hood vents? I think they look good and are much cheaper than hex vents.

I have the Hex Vents and I'm here to tell ya, when you're sitting still you can see the heat waves pouring out. Now once in motion and you have the cool air coming in from the grill, its extracting it for sure. Love them, great look and serve a purpose!

I had it installed at the fest in Indy this year. So I can't comment on install. From what I hear its scary at first cutting into your hood, but their instructions and videos are amazing and well put together . I love my vents. You can feel the heat rise out of them.

Lucky lol. I'm nervous about it and have reason to be. I'll check the instructions and see.

Thanks

Easy install but not for the faint of heart. You are cutting into a perfectly good hood. That being said, the videos that Steve provides are excellent and you can't go wrong.
I really like the vents vs getting another hood. Its hard enough to see over the hood in these cars as it is and to get a COPO hood or something else that's even more raised is insane. Just my take being a 5-11 to 6ft person.

If I was to change hoods I wouldn't get a larger cowl, just want some heat extraction. I will think lol

Hex Vents

ditto to the above comments on The hex Vents: Less expensive than new hood(no painting/bodywork expense) U can paint or hydrodip the Vents prior to install/ the look is Tough along w/ the heat extractiom + U get splash pans to keep out the water......
