JPSS V3 Aero Installed on ZL1

Here is the worlds first ZL1 fitted with JPSS V3 Aero package. I spent all of last weekend fitting this. Since Pete had only fitted this on an SS the bolt pattern would be different than a ZL1 so I was sent a blank Splitter. Saturday morning rolled around and away I went determining where to drill. Anyways turned out great, sturdy as hell (all ~210 pounds of me can stand on the splitter) and is MASSIVE. I'm debating cutting the lower grill but don't want big squares cut out of it so I think I'll keep it as is, just a little bent where the attachments are. It's hard to tell in the pictures but the fender canards are also massive.

I had to drill several 1/4" holes in the side of my fenders and bumper. 14 new holes in the bottom of the bumper, and then I utilized 9 of the OEM bolts that bolt the ZL1 under belly pan to the bumper. So the JPSS splitter has 23 bolts in the bottom. I then had to drill 4 holes in my fender and side of my bumper for the the canards / fender flares. Those things are HUGE, hard to tell from the pictures. Drilling the holes in the bottom of the bumper isn't a huge deal since it's on the bottom and no one would see it. However the ones in the side of the fender and bumper made me a little hesitant. Once I drilled the first hole I was committed

My next track event is at Texas World Speedway November 14 & 15, this track can get some pretty high speeds, the NASCAR front straight I'll be hitting mid 140's.

Thanks Mike, it's been a constant back and forth lately of whether or not to get rid of it for a Z/28 or C7 Z51. At the end of the day it's a wise financial decision to stick with what I've got, at least for another year or two.

In those pictures that is my street set up. 285's up front, 315's out back on OEM ZL1 20" wheels.

My track set up is 305 square set up on 19" wheels.

Are the 19" swapped at the track? (if not R-Comps) Debating about raising the car to run 19" as daily and to/from events.

Depends on the track. If it is fairly close I drive on my track set up. Other wise I've trailered or had a support vehicle carry the track set up.

Looks great and I'd love to see it in person. I'll be at TWS the week prior on the 7-8th. Hope it makes a difference.

Our V 3 Aero Package was track tested before we made it available as a retail part to speeds in excess of 170 MPH. It works.
