Has an SGM owner take their car to a body shop for a repaint of a panel ? Or possibly buy the Gary's customs fenders ?
How was the paint match if you have?

Yeah I haven't tried the color chip stuff. I need to replace both fenders. Terrified of bad matching

I thought I would post a pic of my new coil covers in this section also.
I made a prototype out of wood. After I was happy with the look and fit I had a friend of a friend machine them out of aluminum. I had to find someone else to machine the lettering .What you see is the result.

I have had some paint work here in town and my guy matched everything great the first was the front bumper cover to a mail slot cover and the engine cover later and the he painted my 2004 chevy truck that all came out great he must know what he was doing. then I ordered a zl1 spoiler he told me to have them paint it and the flop was wrong from that place so I sent it back . So if the person mixing is good then no problem my rims are next. good luck

According to my buddy who owns one of the oldest body shops in this area water based paint is much easier to match than the old lacquer based stuff to the point he says it's nearly impossible to screw it up.

Once again Gary, I am in awe of your originality and creativity! That looks awesome! You do realize that everybody is going to be asking you to make them a set now?

Here's a little project I worked on last month. I didn't like the look (or the cost) of those aftermarket dress-up covers that they sell, so I made one of my own design. I did this one to go on the brake line manifold. I'll probably do one for the reservoir next. Total cost was paint I already had laying around and a $7 sheet of aluminum from Home Depot!

This is the finished piece next to the cardboard prototype.
