Has anyone done a front bumper swap? I received a quote today to paint a new front bumper, side rocker ground effects and the rear GM gfx for $2000. Is this outrageous? He will be using PPG paint and said he would have to blend the front bumper into the hood and fenders.

I did mine 3 yrs ago and we only painted the cover and it was fine gave the code and paint matched great. a good friend did mine but u get what u pay for, if he's good it will look great.

Has anyone changed their stitching to green? I have leather seats and the best thing I have seen that people say is the best are the dye. But I want to see pictures and what exact brand/color you guys used so I don't mess up

Sharpie sells a variety pack of I think 13 colors. There is a green in there that works REALLY well.

What lasts longer? The dye stitching or sharpie? I have the SS on my headrest in red sharpie.

Most people recommend going to Joanne Fabrics and purchasing the fabric pen there.

Hopefully there is one around where you live.

That is real close to what I paid for a ZL1 bumper swap side rockers and blade spoiler. It is a BITCH to match this color on the plastic pieces! I think the trick is using the right primer color. Make sure he knows what he is getting into so he isn't doing it over.
