This isn't just the C7 it is the Z06. It isn't less HP it is 650 and lighter. The difference probably isn't huge, but it's definitely there.

Well his ZL1 mods did say "744rwhp 727rwtq"

I'm no math wiz but this would put his old ZL1 at a higher HP range then his new Z06 which is rated 650 to the crank right?

Very hot. White is the best color on the Z06.

Yes less hp at crank than ZL-1 but this thing actually hooks and scoots. Power is all there let me tell you. And yes Jess I'm sure Andy can work a little magic on it I've reading about guys already upgrading to the 2300 blower and making 750hp which would be awesome but for now I'm just gonna enjoy it and put some miles on it. You were right when I talked with you last (JessRayo) about how nimble these things are. It cuts corners like in ways that make you wonder how the hell it stays on the road!

As far as feel the butt dyno tells me it's more powerful. I'm sure it's the lighter chassis plus big tires these Sport Cup tires hook very well after I warmed them up a little. The big difference I feel in acceleration is that it seems to just keep pulling and pulling. Another big surprise is how fast this tranny shifts gears!! I'm talking lightning fast shifts! I was amazed!

Take a new ZL1, add a Z28 and multiple it by PI; that equals the 8sp 2016 Z06. (and I just bought a new ZL1 too)

Lucky ZL1 I am with you!

Drove Z06, 800 pounds lighter, 70 more HP, couldn't resist.

Awesome congrats! Even though these are the camaro forums I hope you stick around!

The Z06 is a amazing car, I have no doubt your going to love it.

Do us a favor in a month and give us a comparision of the corvette vs the ZL1.

I'll be honest Wish I could have kept my ZL1,not missing the black paint at all.
I absolutely love the Z06/Z07 but dearly miss the room that being said no regrets, I cant even compare the two they are so different the magnetic ride is so quick to respond truly amazing
