Sure you could, compare the cost of a ZO6 to a standard Vette and some of that price difference is dictated by the weight reduction materials. If you'd like to pay $45+ for an SS 3400lb car, have at it.

This makes me sound like a twat, but my dream car is a car that looks like a camaro, and has the fuel efficiency of a Prius. lol If such an option were available, I would buy that car over and over every time it eventually died out, for the rest of my life.
Good luck w/that. You picked the wrong car buddy, lol. A prius with a bodykit?

- Functional Scoop

- Smaller rear view mirror for tall people. (I will pay for a new one if GM makes it!!!)

- No need for HUD. Not enough room on the windshield. Put in a tach bar, gear indicator and programmable RPM shift light on the existing DIC display, and get rid if the weird empty space above the DIC.

- Offer a GMPP supercharger kit (preferably magnason) that maintains the factory warranty on the car and power train. (I will buy it!)

- Give us one button that instantly disables all the electronic ninnys. If a mustang pulls up next to me at the light, I don't want to be fooling around pushing and holding the traction control button through various modes. I wana push one button and light um up.

- Adjustable height passenger seat. Wife complains about visability.

- Adjustable height front seat belts.

- Steering wheel radio volume control is on the wrong side.

- Rear seat belts need retainer clips. They beat the inside of the car when loose.

- The cup holders are absolutely useless if you have manual car. Extend the armrest and put the cup holders in the door or behind the arm rest.

- Make the trunk button on the key fob a press and hold, instead of instant open. It is way too easy to open the trunk by mistake.

- Make the windows roll down automatically if you press and hold the button on the key fob to unlock the doors.

- Get rid of etched on warnings, like "objects in mirror are closer than they appear." I don't need to be reminded of that, just make it a sticker we can pull off.

- Ship black floor mats with the Grey interior car. The Gray mats are horrible. Pay the extra couple of bucks and give people rear floor mats.

- Make it so the fuel cover locks when the doors are locked.

- Single zone climate control

- Have GM work with a supplier to have aftermarket wheel locks that match the wheels, Silver, Midnight Silver, Polished, etc...
Now here is a man that gave this some serious thought...good points!

I don't have it yet, so I have not drove one yet. But here are some of the things I would like to see.

HUD
T-Tops (they were great to have off in my 99 TA)
Convertible (soft/hard top option).
HD/Sat Radio w/ build in Harddrive.
Available Nav system
Integrated Gages
Push Button Start (Standard on all Camaros)
HID Lights (standard on all Camaros)

I am sure there will be more, once I get mine and drive it for a while.

Love the car we have now BUT....

BACK-UP CAM!!!! -FTW!!! I would say it again but you get the idea.

Dual climate control with memory from the key fob would be nice to have.

That is about it for me.

-Mark.

1. HUD
2. ABL across the dash
3. Different/nicer grills on the RS
4. Midnight silver wheel delete option w/RS, many don't like them
5. Blackout tail lamp bezels on RS
6. Dual zone climate, makes it much easier to get spousal approval
7. Different blue, lighter IBM (like GTO), or Marina Blue (like in '69)
8. 1LE package
9. Track package for tighter handling
10. NAV
11. Shift light
12. Remote start on manual
13. Z28
14. No lift shift capability
15. DI LS3 would be the best option
16. Cowl induction hood option
17. Mail slot delete or make it functional
18. More choices on options

My first post on the site....Big Volt fan, bigger Camaro SS fan. I would like to see:

Z28 Option
Convertible, available on the Z28.
Hideaway Headlights
Optional Spring and Suspension Packages

I have seen the Camaro in person and it is a big car. I haven't sat in one or even looked in the trunk, so I don't know if Chevy needs to stick with a standard soft top convertible, or if the additional weight and space of a hard top convertible would make a difference in how the car handles or space availability in the trunk.

1. B4C, 2. Keep all current color options while adding more colors., 3. More stripe colors available from the factory(specifically red)4.Rear seats that fold down completely to help with the midget sized trunk

Gauge pack available in 1SS cars from the factory! Most of us that want the 1SS only want this option from the 2SS.

I would also really like the ambient lighting to wrap around the dash as originally intended...

And a red interior option.
