Sick of waiting for Michelin PSS in my sizes

I picked up a set of ZL1 10 spoke wheels for my 10 SS and had the wheels powdercoated.

I planned on running Michelin Pilot Super Sport 285/35ZR20's in the front and 315/35ZR20's in the rear. I have been waiting 2 months for the 285's to get in stock and it still doesnt look like its going to happen anytime soon.

They do have 295's in stock, has anyone ran 295/35ZR20s in the front and 315/35ZR20's in the back with issues? Any rubbing, handling issues, etc.

Thoughts and opinions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Michelin does not make the PSS in 275/40, only 285/35 and 295/35. 285's cant be found anywhere. 295 K1 Ferrari's can be found.

295 K1's in front is my concern.

Talk to the guys at JDP. Jordan was running 295 up front, but not sure which one. I run the 295/35 K1 Ferrari XL on 20x11.5 since it is the widest. The other K1 SL is noticably more narrow. I believe Jordan was running custom offset Forgelines. Could try the SL or the Porsche versions, but it will be tight.

I don't think StabiliTrak will like 283/35 and a 315/35

Don't want to rain on your parade, but I was at my local Discount Tire yesterday and they couldn't find either the 285's or the 315's anywhere. I've had an order in for over a month. If you get a confirmation can you PM me with where they got yours?

Sure thing. I was surprised that they found any. First they thought there may be some here in GA, then TX and then they finally found some in CA. I confirmed via phone yesterday that they should be here tomorrow.

How are you liking those INVO, how is traction with those? Any more shots of that set up?

I have had mine on order with discount tire since march, and nothing yet.

Also stabilitrack has no issues with 285/35 and 315/35 combination. The variance is close enough. Plenty of people run that setup.

We've ran the 295 up front with ZL1 wheels with no issues. Some have reported rubbing on the outer fender, but I think a little camber would resolve that.

Best regards,

I had them before PSSs. I auto cross so it is night and day difference. For that or drags Invos suck

Which version? XL, SL, or Porsche? OE 20x10 ZL-1 and offsets? I believe my ccw's are around 33, sticks out a slightly more than TSW 35mm offsets. Running -1.1* street, -2.5 to -3* camber.

Debating about 295/35 PSS or 285/35 r-s3 for front. Running auto-x CAM next season and selling my Toyo r888 285/35s.

Invos are a great value tire when bought from Amazon. General street use only, suck at any type of racing.
