ZL1 a10 + I/TB/Ex no tune dyno results

Finally got around to throwing my car back on the rollers. 2017 ZL1 a10:

—KN CF intake
—Mamo ported TB
—Corsa extreme axle back
—Custom 2.75” stainless x-pipe w/secondary cat delete
—Stock tune

Have a couple hundred miles since the mods were installed. No CEL. Temps were different during the dyno runs (92*baseline, 62* today) so take the numbers with a large grain of salt. Car picked up ~42whp/40wtq (ignoring spikes).

Here is the graph from today, with the baseline overlayed (printer was out of color, sorry). No weather correction on this sheet as this dynos weather corrected numbers don’t correlate well in the cooler temps according to dyno owner. Car went into cat over-temp protection almost immediately during both pulls today. You can see the dips in the graph where the car added a lot of fuel. Throttle stayed solid at 85% during entire pull. We didn’t log the baseline pulls so no idea if the mods effected cat temps at all. Still picked up some power. Considering the weather, I think it’s safe to say it didn’t LOSE power with the mods, and likely picked up a decent chunk. Too many variables to determine anything too specific honestly. But the car sounds great, and pulls hard. Happy with the results on and off paper. Can go back to completely stock in less than an hour if needed.

(Second graph is the baseline uncorrected numbers themselves)

I've been following your build/mods.

It's great to see the documented power increases on a stock tune with bolt on applications.

Bravo!

Did you get the A/F ratio? Curious what it's running with your mods

I was afraid someone would ask that lol. The beauty of being good friends with a shop owner is that they don’t charge you for a couple quick pulls. The down side is that extras like data logging and A/F are asking a lot when you aren’t paying.

I’d guess it’s still rich based on the amount of soot the exhaust puts out. Removing the 2nd cats definitely removes some of the cleaning capability from the exhaust system. Tad more smelly, much more soot.

Great results! What's the reason for not tuning it?

I gotcha that makes sense. I guess dealers aren't too friendly out there?

Not in general. And not trying to be the guinie pig, or the one they change their mind on if it comes to a pricey repair like and Engine or 10r90 replacement. Car is plenty fast for the purpose I bought it for....weekend street enjoyment. You can get to arrest me speeds in just a couple seconds of WOT. No need for more power for me. And I have a Corvette racecar for actual racing duty.

Weapon-X sells a factory stock replacement computer that allow some you to tuck away the computer in your car now. Tune their replacement computer. Then when you need warranty work, pop your stock unit back in
