Based on how hard it was to communicate with Matt this week it must have been crazy at FSP, I know they have a big track event this weekend and a shop full of cars. Judging by the pictures, looks like they need put the car's bumper on, add some engine oil, and any other loose ends and start it up and tune it!
Hoping to get start up and idle videos on Monday. Obviously getting the car on the dyno is high on the list, I am just curious to hear the new custom grind cam lobe. I fly into Tampa this Wednesday the 28th around noon. Not sure If I'll be getting a hotel room and taking delivery of the car on Thursday or if it will be ready on Wednesday. Either way I am stoked! Can't wait anymore!!

Got a first start up idle clip. Its only about 25 seconds but pretty damn sweet music to my ears! I arrive in Bradenton tomorrow around noon. Once I get over to the shop I'll get some better pics and videos! Soon will come Dyno runs.
Here is a little video clip!

You couldn't be more right! Midnight and I am wide awake! Cant remember the last time I was this excited! That empty tank was my gift to the guy who had to remove the fuel tank when upgrading the fuel system. I figured that was the least I could do for him.

I want to hear about your knees after your first drive..... my were wobbly as hell... The dyno tuning and break in had been completed before I got home so it was ready to hammer... Corey gave me a ride first so I would be completely surprised... thank goodness he did.... I was still just barely ready for it when it happened... Enjoy the beast and keep us informed...

Car was on dyno yesterday, and put down 747whp and 714wtq we stopped there the car had a lot more in it, but I am comfortable there for now. As it is now the car has obvious traction issues. I figure it will take me some time to get used to it and change the tires and wheels. I'll post some video later, once I get home. FSP gave me a vet to drive till I pick my car up later today. I am thinking that will get me used to the increased power after driving the jimmy all winter!

Be careful when you first start getting on it... Corey jokingly told me I'll either go like a bat out of hell, or into a bar ditch backwards at 100 mph... He was jokingly serious.... He built a Camaro after mine and that is exactly what happened...

Picked the car up this afternoon. After hanging out for a while for part of Wednesday, and today, I finally got to take delivery! The anxiety, excitement and anticipation been killing me since Dec 10, when I dropped the car off. Actually more importantly, this is the kind of build that I have fantasied about for YEARS.
The things I could say about FSP are all good. My experience with them was second to none. Matt, from the first email ever sent, has been an A+ professional all the way. Hes also just a good person in general. As for the rest of the crew/team at FSP, their ALL a talented, and committed, group of hard working professionals that I would have dreamed to work with when I was working in this industry. That being said, since some of you know that I was previously in this business for many years a while ago, before I stopped working. I have seen and driven some pretty wild and cool rides. Anything from foreign, to domestic sports cars, of the high end type. Been around and driven some really fast and powerful cars. Everything I and others said about how it was going to be the first time was completely right. I mean lets face it, all the people that told me how it was going to be already knew that of course because they went through it once before! I drove the car, maybe an hour our two, playing to see what the car can do and what I cant, before I actually went WOT. When I first broke the tires loose at 80 mph I thought the clutch was slipping. My first reaction was to call the shop. Matt and I had a pretty good laugh at that one. The cam compliment was an awesome choice. You can tell the difference, especially while driving out of boost. I love that the car drives pretty much like my old full bolt on setup (plus a cam now) then once I decide to hammer it, that it just screams. Here is a screenshot of the power and a video. The smoke at the end of the run was from the car sitting at an angle, it doesn't do it on the road.

Thank you for your word of warning. I actually read it at a rest stop right before I nailed it. Was a great thing to read and the timing was perfect. Thanks.
