Footwell Lighting Help!!

I need help connecting my footwell for my passenger side.
Driver side was a breeze to install. When I try connecting wires to my passenger side it won't light up. Please help me!

Driver side: Quick spliced positive(red) wire to the GRAY wire that is underneath the gas pedal. Then I got a spade terminal and grounded the negative(black) wire to the bolt near the center console. This part was easy and works without a doubt with my dome lights!

Passenger side: Quick spliced postive(red) wire to the DRIVER positive(red) footwell wire. Then I got another spade terminal and grounded the negative(black) wire to the bolt near the center console.

For test taking purposes I didn't put passenger footwell in the passenger side. It was still on the driver side. Basically two ground terminals on the bolt. The driver side footwell works because even when I touch the bolt with the terminal it lights while the passenger one doesn't.

Driver side is fully done and doesn't need modifications. I just need to know how to connect the passenger footwell. Please help! because right now I'm just rocking one footwell

BTW: I tested two light strips. I doubt it is both defected.

I just tied my passenger side in to the drivers side for the hot and ground wires. Mine works great.

Likely a bad or reversed connection.

Some led strip lighting are reversed. Switch pos and negative.
Installed many.. Same brand, bought at same time. Still one was reversed.
Hope that helps.

Easy fix

Driver side: Quick spliced positive(red) wire to the GRAY wire that is underneath the gas pedal. Then I got a spade terminal and grounded the negative(black) wire to the bolt near the center console. This part was easy and works without a doubt with my dome lights!

Passenger side: Quick spliced postive(red) wire to the DRIVER positive(red) footwell wire. Then I got another spade terminal and grounded the negative(black) wire to the bolt near the center console.

The way I did this In 2 Camaros so far is I put both red wires from each led strip, crimped those together, then put a wire from the end of that crimp to the gray wire under the dash, next I grounded both the wires to the same bolt, I can almost gaurantee it's because you tried to tap into the red power wire for the driver footwell, seriously, don't do that.

The power wire on the led strip is so small that your tap simply just isn't touch it.

Thank you Now it's looking good! Only reason I tapped the passenger red to driver red was because my red wire was short. So I extended it. I also made both ground into one terminal. Basically did everything your way! Thanks a lot!

Yeah, blue is too big, but, that does not explain the passenger side.
