GM had stand alone computers for the 8L90 in their connect and cruise packages. It's available with the LT1, LT4 and LT5 packages.
I think it's only a matter of time before the 10 speed makes it into the GM performance drivetrain packages.

You guys may want to hit up http://www.speartech.com/default.asp these guys have a harness setup using a 10L90 it is bolted to an LT4 but seems they know how to get it working have tapshift control and everything. Who knows maybe you can get a "trans only" setup from them.

My interest is piqued. I'd love to swap in a 10L90E to my whipple+cam 5th gen. Would be icing on the cake. I'll be watching this thread with anticipation for the day the solution is found.
