Draining fuel tank?

My car has a half of a tank of fuel in it an was wondering if there was an easy way to drain the bad fuel out WITHOUT removing the tank? I seen an old post where a member used up tuners to run fuel pump, but I don't have access to hp tuners...

Buy a siphoning pump from Home Depot, stick one hose in the tank and the other in a 5 gallon fuel can.

Can't siphon it, there is a check ball in the filler neck.

Yup.

Why is the fuel "bad"? Unless you accidentally put diesel fuel in it, top if off w/ fresh gas and stop worrying.

The fuel has been in the tank for a few months now due to repairs and bad weather. Before the car was parked I was getting some KR and tuner said has to be bad fuel and to take it easy until I burn it out and refuel. The weather is still nasty out and if there was an easy way of draining it I would much rather do that to save time and possibly determine if the KR was bad fuel or something else.

Fill up the tank and put a fuel additive in and just keep foot off accelerator.

theres no easy way to do it. i jsut dropped the fuel tank yesterday on my ss. unless you unclip the fuel feed, and hood you tube onto that and siphon out that way, thats easiest, at the front right corner of the fuel tank theres a BLUE connector, thats the fuel feed.

Disconnect the feed line to the fuel rail, run a hose to a tank and hot wire the fuel pump relay on.

Agree. Not worth the effort of draining.
