Turbo Broken...?

I have a 2010 ss camaro that I put the turbonetics kit on (76mm ceramic ball bearing). I also have an RX 3-port catch can and an RX breather cap with one way valve in it.
Everything was going relatively fine until I put the breather cap on, which very well may be coincidence, and it started pluming white smoke out the tail pipes. Started only when I come off of boost, now it is even while at idle, all in 2 days time.
*If you know what "coal rollers" are with the turbo diesel trucks, it is similar to that, only white smoke instead of black. Not nearly the same volume, but enough to leave a smoke screen across the road/highway.
I attached a picture of how I currently have it set up, though I have re-route it in numerous ways to try to get the right fit only to my demise.

My questions are: 1.) could it possibly be the breather cap? 2.) do I have this system set up properly? 3.) are the seals inside the turbo broken (do you think) and oil is burning up inside

I was also told that a rebuild for this specific turbo costs nearly as much as getting a whole new one.

Thanks in advanced for any feedback/help/input

You are either dumping oil into the intake/turbo, or have a drain/feed issues with the turbo. Those are the 1st too things to check.

Or you popped a ringland, and motor is toast.

Yuppers.. if there is heavy smoke coming out of oil cap, RIngs!

There's no smoke or oil coming out of the breather. I checked the intake turbine and no oil is in it, nor in the intercooler or piping to the TB. If i have drain/feed issues, could that be resolved easily by, say, changing the 2 fittings? Or would it be more then just that? (Also checked the galley plug [feed] and the oil pan where it drains and no oil residue at all).
If it is a ring land failure, wouldn't I notice that in the driving capability?
The turbo still boosts as it should and runs/drives smoothly. I am only pushing 500rwhp so unless I got a bad batch of parts, I should be ok on internals no?

Do a compression test to see of it is the rings. I always thought that if it was blue smoke out of the tail pipe it was the rings.

Take the catch can off and plug the holes and see if it still smokes

Why not vent both sides to the catch can?

plugged the hoses and still smokes :( and the breather cap (to my understanding) is supposed to eliminate the need for venting both sides. I may be wrong but every chart i've seen on the "proper" set up has it capped on the passenger side.
I just talked to turbonetics on the phone and the guy told me that its more then likely not the rings, but instead could just be internals. running almost a grand for new internals, or roughly $1400 for a new one, or $1800 for an upgraded one. Only positive is that it should start snowing here soon and I wouldn't be driving it any way
I do appreciate all the feedback and thoughts you guys have shared, though it looks like i'll be having to bite the bullet on this one. Better for a new turbo then a new ls3!

take off the breather cap and place your hand on the opening with the motor idling. If you feel positive pressure........ Most likely ringlands on #5 or #7

I put a plastic bag around it to get a good seal and it started sucking it in. so if I am understanding it correctly, that's a good sign correct?

Turbo seals don't just go out typically. They aren't like a rubber seal. It is just a piston ring. If you have oil pooling up in the turbo it will seap past the ring and cause smoke. Check your return line to make sure it isn't kinked and flowing well.

Maybe a good sign if your line to the intake manifold was NOT connected at the time.
