No reason to change a thing with sales over last year on the rise . May see a few sticker packages towards the end of the 6th gen SS run but i don't expect anything thing else . I don't think we will ever see another Z28 and i am fine with that but the ZL1 may cap off the its 6th gen run on a high note . Can't wait to see what the 7th gen brings.

V8 N.A. & V8 S.C. engines and manual 6 speed transmissions should continue to be available and electronic limited slip differential (ELSD) for all Camaros.
And maybe to improve rear seat space.
Get rid of the 2019 ugly front

It would take away the sports car feel then. Big windows on a sports car... well, take a look at Cobalt SS I personally got used with the visibility and “tank” interior very fast, being very scared of it at first. I almost didn’t buy the car because of it. But elbow resting... is for trucks.

What I would really like to see is a redesign for the frontend (just going back to 2016-2018 is enough and cheap, since they already have that). And more performance for non-SS models

I really don't expect much.

The car isn't selling and doubtful GM wants to pile more money into it just because they can.

If there is a Gen7 for 2022, we should be seeing camo'ed prototypes shortly. First prototypes are 80 weeks or so from production. Because we haven't seen anything there is very likely to be a Gen6 for 2021 as well.

With GM "eliminating" thousands of workers late last year and early this year, they are definitely only applying resources where there is money to be made.

And Alpha 2 and Alpha 1 can certainly be made on the same line.

New engines take resources. I could see the LT5 as that would be viewed as an engine modification, not all new. But even that takes resources that can be applied elsewhere.

The only thing keeping Camaro from suffering 2001 all over again is that there is one other car, CT5, that GM needs in LGR.

2019 was THE MCE. If they planned on FCA and ACC, we likely would have seen it in the new front fascia.

I would hope for a Z/28, but I think that thought died. My hunch is there was one at one point in time, but sales killed it. I don't think you'll see GM doing much of the "did it because we can" anymore. It has to make money to fund the future, at least the future as they see it.

Let's hope GM is truly being visionary and there is a Gen7 with a wildly different take on what a sporty performance car can be. I just don't see another RWD V8 coupe from 2022 through 2028 in the cards.

For 2020? It would be odd to see anything of substance a year after the MCE. That being said, GM did separate the Interior and Exterior MCEs in the Gen5. So there is hope.

Best hope we have is camo'ed cars show up on the street this summer to support a 2022 launch of the Gen7.

Lose the silly colors like Shock, why bother when you will only sell a couple thousand. Add another reasonable color instead, like a second blue or deep green. This won’t cost GM a dime.

Update some of the interior trim, doesn’t have to be much. Lose the white accent package and offer a new color, like blue. Would not mind seeing a third tier audio system like Mustang and Challenger both offer but probably no way that is in the cards. Hey, how about seat belt loops? Or bring back the wireless charging mat, only usable. Piddly little things like this are prob all we can hope for 1 year after a MCE.

The 2.7 turbo from the Silverado is intended/designed solely for truck duty, it would be terrible in this car. Even the normal turbo 4 is only 275 hp, way behind everyone else. New Mustang 4cyl is 330hp, Ford Focus RS 350hp, even the new Ranger is 270hp. Mercedes CLA45/GLA45 AMG turbo 4's are currently 375 hp and the new 2020's will be 420hp. VW is speculated to have a 300+ Golf R soon (a 400hp "concept" car was shown just a couple years ago). Volvo S60 Polestar is 360hp. Honda Civic Type R is 306hp. I think there is a lot of powertrain competition between a T4 and V6. I don't believe the next Gen will still have both.
Comparing the Camaro 4 cylinder with most of those others is a bit ridiculous. Some of those cars approach, and exceed, the SS price range!

I just like the fact that some of you are saying that sales are improving and then others say they aren't selling well at all........

Overall most sports cars are not selling well. Chevrolet only sells 3-4000 Camaros per month. It's tough to make a profit with those numbers and even tougher to justify further development into a slow market segment. In comparison, they probably sell 3000 Silverados by Wednesday.

However year to year 2018 to 2019, Camaro sales gave actually gone up.

Which is why we'll see Chevrolet introduce the NA 500+ horsepower "LT2" in July.

I'd guess Camaro won't see the LT2 until Gen 7. GM will likey just overlap old/new production for LT1/LT2 like they have consistently done in the past:

- 1997 (LT1/LS1)
- 2008-09 (LS2/LS3)
- 2014-15 (LS3/LT1)

Since I have a CLA 45 AMG, I can state it is NOT cross shopped with Camaro (anything). M2 (yes). Audi RS3 (yes). C43 AMG (yes). Camaro 4 cylinder 2LT (not so much). The other cars are ~$50K or more cars, too. Comparing a ~$30K car to cars that may cost ~$60K doesn't make much sense or cents.

Glass top or Targa top. I would love to be able to open up the top but not have to worry about the canvas of a convertible. Also a better design to open the trunk so there is a larger mouth. More power for the SS. I would like it to sit closer to 500 RWHP. Finally, more leg room in the back. Maybe make the seats thinner, the back seat shorter, I dunno.

Lumbar support in the seats.
T-Tops
More aggressive transmission tune in Sport and Track mode (A8)(A10).
More power, maybe an option to order LT4 supercharged engine as an SS option. Not everyone needs track setup.
