strange that you said that dball was a POS I have done a dozen or so of them on camaros, worked every time with no problems at all. Have one in my car, I can do a full alarm, keyless entry, remotestart, all the bells and whistles in about 2 hours, and I have used the fortin evoall and it was alot more wire to wire when the dball with viper is all data to data, and you can still use the factory fob to control the viper unit.

But I do have to say what you did is very cool, just wish someone made a steering shrouding that didnt have a key hole so you could mount it on the flat spot on the dash.
