First cut at painting

Decided to do mini project over weekend.

Set out to paint engine cover and strut bar.

Noticed catch can and decided to try and paint that as well.

Final results...

Thought it was decent for first attempt. Started raining so didnt get to finish lettering but will continue later.

Today tried to recreate 1LE concept hash marks by painting instead of cutting into matte. End result was decent but I think I will re-do because the color turned out a bit off.

Next mods def gonna be CAI and Pf Springs en route..

First cut at painting

Nice. Liked them all but think the painting of the vinyl wrap was odd. To each their own though. Are you using the GM color matched paint,"Pull Me Over Red"?

I used the the same one I used on my engine cover. Duplicolor engine enamel from O'Reilly's

Yea I liked the look but really didnt want to have to pay to have my wrap cut into.. And funny you mention it lol I been looking all over for "Pull me over red" touch up paint but no one has it. Has to be special ordered.
