Cars you should not like......but do.
Admit it here.
Kia Soul. I thought they were stupid until I actually had to drive one. There are completely out of the realm of what I have owned. (69 Camaro, 700HP firebird, trucks) Had one for a rental over 3 years ago when my kids were in huge fortress style carseats, and it won me over. The door opening must have been made just for it, didn't have to even tilt that 40# Britax. Couldn't even slide them in my Tahoe. And the whole "driving a slow car fast" thing. It had a decent list of features for what I found was a surprising price(I got curious and realized it was a base model worth about 16k but everything worked well. It handled, went and stopped much better than I thought it would.

Easy - second generation Chevy Volt. When the prices drop in a few years I’m going to get one as a get around town car.

The 5th Gen Camaro
Overweight, old tech pushrod, drag race focused car - LOL no thanks, pass. I'm a road course guy. Light weight, handling focused machines are good, heavy unbalanced cars are bad. I blame Randy Pobst and his on-track video review of the 5th Gen 1LE. I was shopping for something far different. I have no regrets, this car is pretty incredible for weighing as much as a truck. I can't take out much weight to ever make this car light, but damn this BBW can dance.

Nissan 370Z for me. I admit its not that radical a choice but the design is over 10 years old & it may be less practical than even a Camaro is. That said I drool every time I see one & would no doubt own one if I had a place to keep it.

Subaru Crosstrek, I wouldn't mind one for the wife or as a daily with a lift and some all terrains

As mentioned above, the 370z. What a nice car even if the design is 10 years old.
Also I kinda like the look of those Mini SUV like the Buick Encore, Chevy Tracks, Mazda CX-3, etc. I'd get that over a 4 door sedan.

Isuzu VehiCross. Would love to get my hands on one, those things could go anywhere. Can't see out the back but when you are off roading whats behind you don't matter lol.

Station wagons. Preferably a final generation Caprice Classic wagon ('94-'96 if I can for the LT1), a CTS-V wagon, even an old school '59 Impala wagon, and who can deny a Tri-5 Nomad?

Subaru WRX - since they first were announced, it caught my fancy. The "Bug Eye", the hatch, the whole rally car mystique had me wanting one. I traded in my 335i convertible for an SUV (don't ask - brain cramp for sure) and I found myself wanting a toy.
OK I scratched that itch with a 2015 WRX. It didn't have the driving a slow car fast fun and it really wasn't that fast. Horrible factory tune that fell on its face at about 4800RPMs, notchy shifter and iffy clutch. Bought cash and sold 15 months later (ouch). A 2016 Camaro SS 6M fixed things for me.

What makes a car be something you shouldn't like?

Had one - loved it! Handled great. You even think about turning and it does. Traded on my SS - wife made me. Honest!
