Did they tell you you'd be getting it sooner or something? I mean if you waited too long and their others were sold already it's not their fault. But if they told you it would be in after a few months and are now telling you they were wrong about their allocations then shame on them.

Well just a quick count here, 14 000 preorders, and if they make 3000 a month at five day weeks, that little over four months to cover the pre-orders alone...means that even I did have the money today I'd not get until autumn. Well that sucks!

Following is JUST MY OPINION:
They're going to easily make 1500-2000 by the end of March alone considering they made 150 today. They'll achieve 200 a day in April no question. That's 4200 in April. 250 a day by May; that's 5200. 300 a day by June; that's 6300 and it's also a total of 17,200-17,700 by the end of June CONSERVATIVELY. Now what do you think?

well figure 3000 a month, a number that should increase to about 4000 a month. the first 14,000 preorders should be done by about mid July, so say you were next in line you would actually get your car around early or mid August. I'm just coming out of college in May and still working on getting a job lined up, day thats finalized ill go out and order...when i actually will receive a car has been on my mind. It would be possible to find someone that still has allocations and maybe receive the car sooner if your lucky

I think I feel kinda sheepish since I didn't account for the fact that it's ans engineering process and as any such it can be accelerated when all involved get more accustomed to working on it. Don't hit me!

Well all in all it doesn't matter since I don't have the money yet, and the little smart guy in me is urging me to test drive it before I buy it anyways.

My dealer is the biggest Chev dealer in Nova Scotia, probably east of Montreal - they have been allocated a grand total of 8 (6 V8s and 2 V6s). The Sales Manager told me GM was building 20,000 and that 18K go to the USA and 2K stay in Canada.

I called my dealer today just to see when their Demo car would show up. The guy told me that they have 4 Camaros ordered, but they keep getting delayed, and that none would be showing up until next month, but if I wanted he could put me on the "wall of fame" list of people on the big wall...

Dumb.
