This is a topic that is very near and dear to many here. I know I am getting really close to doing something for my Camaro. I've got it narrowed down to Cat -Back and full 100% Stainless. I am leaning towards the Magnaflow system, but have not counted out the Corsa system. I wish there was a better way to have a side by side comparison of these verses a stock system, with all things being equal.

It is very much a personal preference on sound. There is a lot of youtube video with sound clips from every exhaust available for the v6. I like the MRT v2.0 personally.

I have Magna flow Catback on my LT, its louder than stock for sure. No rasp. Hums at low RPM but rocks when you change the gear.
The performance is good and the response is better as well as better MPG. I like it. V6 can never be better than this. MRT is too high for me and sounds like a truck. But still it is only a personal taste. Need any help PM me guys.

I know the feeling though, I'd pay a decent sum or money just to have a clip of the stock exhaust vs. custom magnaflow setup I'm thinking of doing vs. magnaflow axle-back all taken by the same source and all running similar tests. ahh...but I'm dreaming lol. Only chance that may happen is at Camarofest, and I highly doubt that happens.
