Dyno brands
Hey guys I'm probably going to get my new cam dyno'd and was wondering what brand is the best? I'm looking at two shops right now. One has a mustang and the other has a dynojet. Is there a benefit of one versus the other?

The mustang was the better one. But newer dynojets can simulate a load the same way mustang's do.
It's only a tool so as long as the tuner is good you'll be ok.

Worry about the tuner over the dyno. Dyno is just a tool to help them do their job but it all lies on the tuners knowledge.

Torqqe Performance and Pro Modular Performance. I don't have any names of the tuners yet because I haven't called them yet.

Well it looks like I might be going with Torqqe Performance. They only charge $150 for three pulls. But their tuning is crazy expensive though. He said depending on how many map changes they have to do it could be anywhere from $800-$1500.

Go with remote tune from Pat G in TX.... He had my cammed Vortech supercharged set up singing on tune #5. A great experience and much cheaper. You will need your own HP tuners interface.

the dyno is not important....the tuner is. you are just looking for gains prior and after. Make sure you get a baseline prior.

Dynos all read different, doesn't mean much. Most important is pre and after gains!
