2013 ZL1 - E85 IAT2 and IAT Advance
2013 ZL1 with mods listed below. On E85, HP Tuners is showing IAT2s of up to 174 and -4.4 IAT Advance at WOT, but no KRs. Is this normal? If I switch back and forth from 91 octane to E84, will the IAT tables automatically adjust, or do I need to make some adjustments in the tune to lower the IAT2s even though I have no KRs?
Lingenfelter GT14 Cam, West Coast Stage 2 CNC Ported Heads, Dynatech Headers, RotoFab cold air intake, upper & lower Lingenfelter pulleys, Fore Innovations L4 Fuel System, Phastek DSX Flex Fuel Kit for E85, ID 1150's, reinforced intercooler - last pull showed 694 rwhp on the Dynojet |

Just depends on your tune, while you might have a -4 timing pull with those IATs , what is important is your total spark advance.
If your tune is setup right and you have a ethanol sensor you dont need to change tunes all the time I do not believe the IAT tables change based on the E content of your fuel. |

The type of fuel has nothing to do with your IAT advance table. 174 is cooking. You need cooling mods bigtime.............

Crash76 - I confirmed this with a local tuner as well. Thank you!

ABADZL1 is right. 174 is way too hot. Get that thing cooled down.

When I road race, the highest I've seen on a really hot day in a 20-25 minute session is 165° - before I added meth (I'm not running it harder than 7/10 ;o) .
Gotta cool that thing.. Running E also. Only good for keeping cylinder temps down and of course power... -Don I have a lot of cooling going on ;o)

S/C cooling mods should be done first in my opinion..
