Had to remove the wheel and liner to get at the back side of the crash bar. I was pretty nervous at first but once I got started it was no big deal.

Yeah, I put off the long guards until after the weekend. And as far as the tow hook, it seems pretty simple. It’s just the crash bar. But I went the other route with buying a new lightweight one with it integrated. Also able to save my original in new condition just incase (like Arizona says) lol

LeftCoast32. Fit flawlessly. They are on this forum too under same name. Was selling that sweet built black Z a couple months ago with the full cage and everything. Good people to work with. Will be purchasing their rear bar sometime this year too

Ok. I checked out their site & doesn’t look like they make those anymore? Unless I’m missing them somehow!

https://www.leftcoast32.com/shop-per...point-receiver Here's the link to the rear ones he only has the mild steel ones right now. https://www.leftcoast32.com/shop-per...point-receiver I bought his last set of of chromoly ones he'd had. Don't think he is planning on making any more. I could be persuaded to sell mine seeing as I sold my Z28 Last Month. They are still brand new in the box from Joe. |

This week I worked on adding my new Coolshirt cooler. I had originally been thinking to put it in the back seat so it’s close and shouldn’t be hard with my rear seat delete. After I got it, I was mocking up where I was going to actually put it and on the rear seat delete was not looking good. There was too much of an angle. I probably wouldn’t be able to put but a quart if water into it since it was so angled. I thought about making a bracket to get it to sit flush. Ended up looking at the trunk and decided that was probably the place. I have the flow control switch with it but couldn’t find a good place to mount it that I also liked. So I rigged a toggle to the seat for now. I haven’t seen many people use these things, so does nobody else get hot??? Lol
