Wow I need to step up my sign game haha. The front side markers actually gave me a hard time. I wasn’t able to pull the top clip on either side without pulling the screw and the inner fender well back. I knew not to put on the rock guards until I got these installed after reading this thread. Those are the next priority install along with a catch can though.

After owning this car for almost a month I am still completely in love. Does that ever wear off? God I hope not.

Nope, it doesn't wear off. The more mods you install to "make it yours", the more you will love it.

Sorry the fronts gave you trouble. But yeah be glad you installed these first before the splash/rock guards. TRUST ME. Lol. Great pic!

And like Heath and Ric said, the feeling never wears off. Mine will be 4 yrs old next July. And still a thrill every time I fire up the engine.

Wifey commenting in the car yesterday during our ride home: "hm, it still has that new car smell" It's been about 20 months, and still the same exhilaration every time I touch the steering wheel and press that nice silver start button.

Awesome looking car Brian, congrats. Your new detector+dash cam setup is very similar to mine, except I got the regular console harness from Gen5DIY and hardwired the dash cam to the trunk fuse box to have a functioning parking mode.

Truck in shop for multiple things today. They gave me a loaner.

2020 V6 Camaro in Shadow Grey with 72 miles on it lol.

Service writer knows me and says, “It’s not an SS but got you a loaner you can appreciate.”

Correction: It’s a Turbo. Popped hood. Fooled me. Felt like a V6 based on memory from my 5th gen.

Seeing my wife’s C7 in the garage all alone for 9 months gave me the idea to trade my JK Wrangler for a 2SS. Matches the C7 inside and out.
