Wrecked Z/28 w/6K mi - Parting Out or Selling As Is - CLEAN TITLE!
Well folks, here it is #1179. Red Hot AC Z/28 w/only 6K miles on the odometer. The car is totally 100% stock and has been extremely well taken care of up until I slammed in to a ditch (trofeo Rs do NOT do well in the cold weather!). I have a used oil sample or 2 which showed this engine is in perfect condition.
I lightly tracked it 1 time but the brakes are in very good shape, no white burnish marks on them or anything. It was my first time on a circuit track and I did not push the car hard at all. The drivers side is obviously trashed, the wheels are likely bent but the brakes are still good. The rear end does still pull the car, but unsure of it's condition. The side airbags were deployed. Luckily nothing hit the underside of the engine or anything. Literally everything on this car was in perfect shape. I also have the wicker bill! As the title states, I do have a CLEAR title -- not salvaged. I'm located in Northern Maryland. First, I want to see if anyone is interested in the car as is. If I don't get any bites worth considering, I'll be parting it out. PM or post for questions. Not really sure where to start with the price of the car, but I'll start around $32k OBO. Open to thoughts/reasonable offers. Last edited by oakaro68; 03-23-2023 at 01:44 PM. |

I just threw up in my mouth.
BTW, the wickerbill is worth 32K. Not sure how much the rest of the car is worth. BUT, IT IS STILL A Z/28--AND THEY AREN'T MAKING ANYMORE OF THEM.

Oh no, you must be so bummed. Looks like a nasty wreck, did you suffer any injuries or did the Z keep you safe? I will take the rear shocks if you end up parting it out.

Sorry to see that. Hope it's brought back to life again. If you part it, I'll take the spoiler with the Wicker bill. Figure it's easier if I buy both. Glad you're ok.

Probably a good restoration project if someone is interested in tackling it.

If you part it out, I would be interested in the complete hood assembly (if undamaged), the rear glass and the factory manifolds and cats. Thanks

Saw this on FB today, sorry man. I don't get by here often enough but hopefully whoever's keeping the list of KIA Z's will archive this one, has to be well over 100 by now.
