If it goes to 6400 it's user error, NLS was not active. If you come off the gas just a little it won't work.

I'm gonna try it again soon and I'll update on results, but just to be sure, I keep throttle matted with foot 100% off clutch, then stab the clutch and shift while keeping throttle planted?

Yes. The key is to not twitch that right foot. Any amount of throttle lift will defeat NLS and you can then bounce off the rev limiter (don't ask me how I know - ).

NLS on 2019 ZL1 1LE on track

Not that anyone asked for it, but here's a video of me using no lift shift on track in my '19 ZLE.

https://youtu.be/xBNCI-at0vU?feature=shared&t=14

I use NLS for 3rd to 4th on the front and back straight, and for 4th to 5th on the back straight.

And this is where I NLS from 2nd to 3rd in roughly the middle of the lap, exiting T6, accelerating toward T7: https://youtu.be/xBNCI-at0vU?feature=shared&t=76

Careful with the volume level of video playback, the external mic was on the back of the car (at the juncture between the edge of the trunklid and the taillight).

Has anyone with a 2022+ model year LT1 trim confirmed that NLS is equipped? I tried it once on a 2-3 shift above 5k rpm but it didn't work and I hit the rev limiter (maybe I slightly lifted throttle?). I've been too timid to try it since

Guarantee you slightly lifted... that's all it takes.

Stand on it next time you can't hurt it.
