I have been running slicks on street 6xx rwhp, and have yet to have trans slip at all or any issues.
Then again it has lots to do with your foot and how much you abuse the car.
My trans crapped out at 606rwhp. I've seen trans crap out on stock vehicles before. Just be careful the higher up you go and expect to replace it sooner if you drive it hard.

Anyone try those torque storm superchargers? Texas Speed carries them now and assume they would make for a more budget friendly forced induction build.

It is hard to beat the LSA 1.9 supercharger ported for what you are trying to achieve, in fact if you lower your compression to around 9.1 and run a ported LSA charger you will easily exceed what you are shooting for with ease along with the other supporting mods like exhaust, cam, 102/103 mm throttle body, 5 inch cold air intake and if you want to get into the mid 750 range add head work this is on 93 pump gas. E85 will take it even further.

I would suggest the ESS supercharger system very high quality components and high HP potential.

We have several over 1100 HP with the top optional head units

I know you not looking for that much power the base head unit will support up to 700 RWHP

Feel free to give us a call for advice or to put a package together to meet your goals. 203-753-7223
