Yeah all inlays! It was my first time inlaying something other than a big chunk of wood. I'm pretty proud of the results even if there was a little tearout!

It is an ancient method used by a lot of luthier! Not my design.

It is super effective, I was impressed. And it allows to clamp weird shapes.

Now since I am off of work for at least a month because of Covid-19, I have a lot more time to work on my guitar.

I have now fitted the soundboard to the side assembly after doing all the kerfings.

Back is glued on and did all the grooves for the purfling and binding. You can see the little tool I made to ensure that the grooves are always the perfect depth (the guitar top and back are domed so I can't lay it flat on the router table). All is based on the book I am following.

And they say that the binding (sides) should be kissing the kerfings that are inside... I can say that I am following it perfectly haha.

I finished my daughters bed over the long weekend. Its a platform bed made mostly from pallets. I did buy a couple sheets of 5/8" white melamine for the drawer boxes.
