thanks Welker! It is great to be the car the folks are turning their head at instead of me turning my head at their Camaro. Amazing how good a real car can make you feel.
I plan on spending alot of time here. |

I know the feeling, have had mine for a while now and still get lots of people coming up to me parking lots and other places to talk about it & cars in general.
I spend a lot of time on the forum as well, it's a great place to learn, share and just have a good time ... there are a lot of great folks here, but get ready for some ribbing every now and then, most if it is all in fun

Hello everyone i have been absent for a while but nothing has been going on. It has been a fairly mild winter around here so that is good. Worked on the Camaro a bit last weekend was going to do a brake job but I think I have at least one more season on them so I skipped it and just installed the new caliper covers instead. That will be it for a few more weeks as I have to travel to our Provo Utah office on Thursday and work there for a week. Then we will likely drive to Florida to see Jackies parents so it will be April before I get a chance to change the grills and wheels.

Welcome to the group Spocktwin ,
Trickskier , enjoy Daytona ... Rick great pictures and that is a lot of stuff for sale .. today at the cottage the snow has melted in the last week so Idecided to pickup the branches that have come down over the winter , then it started to snow and now the ground is covered.. I think mother nature says winter is not over yet . looking forward to next wknd I will fly into Tampa and meet my wife , stay at the inlaws and the following wknd attend the St Petersburg Indy car grand prix .. then fly back to Canada mid week ..My wife will stay till the end of march .... The last time that I was in florida I saw a Hot wheels special edition from a distance , then 2 mths later I bought one ..I think someone who shall remain nameless will tell me not to get any other ideas .. |

thanks, wanting some warm weather
Thanks for the welcome. Northern Ohio is such a tease, we had 77 degrees here on Friday and today it is 33. I am so itching to do some work on the car but need to wait for warmer times. I need more consistent heat in the garage so maybe my first project is giving the new baby a nice place to sleep. The paint needs some TLC (I grew up in a body shop but times have changed so any advice is welcome). My wife says he has not seen me since I shed a tear when the Trans Am left the drive way.....and says "Oh God what have I done?" lol

SPOCKTWIN ---- Welcome !!!
Trick ---- Daytona was a crash fest... I had Kyle Busch in the pool so I went out early. Hope you had a good trip. Rick ---- The new dash looks great !!! Spike ---- I like your signature. It is cool !!! Richard ---- I do not know,,,, but a new blue ZL1 would be the bomb!!! Keep that crappy white stuff up your way. It is so warm that we have storms coming tonight (tuesday). Not much going on around this neck of the woods (corn fields). Temps have been mild and have been able to get the cars out for short exercises. That is always a plus for February. John
