Another thing I noticed is how you do not see the curves in the car when you look through the mirrors like you do on a 5th gen. The car to me feels way too small on the inside and outside. Forget about anyone sitting in the back seat. Also the engine compartment has hardly no room. Just looks well plain and everything all bunched up.

The car drove ok and not worth the upgrade and really it did not sound any better than the one I have. Love the REv matching that was sweet. I'll keep mine and save some money until they come out with a refresh and fix that ass
Funny you mentioned the rear end of the 6th gen when the 5th gen 14' and 15' arguably has the ugliest rear end of any gen camaro.

Lol... You're are smoking something because nothing beat retro interior of the 5th Gen . The 6th Gen with digital and the instrument cluster looks like everything else on the road

A used one would be what i would be after is i decide to get one, just for the simple fact that i wont pay 40K+ for a Camaro. I probably wont though i prefer the 5th gen fort he reason stated in my other post. I agree the ZL1 is a bad machine GM hit a home run! but again i wont pay 40K+ for a Camaro let alone the 60-70K for a ZL1 even though bang for your buck compared to other cars its a bargain!

Not true my wife loved the 5th gens, and two kids 8 and 3 fit in the car just fine with no issues.

Performance wise the 6th gen is light years ahead of the 5th gen for sure. The styling and interior room are where it falls short IMO.

The 4th gens deserve all the hate! lol The 4th gen TAs hold a special place in my heart, but i still know they were junk cars lol The engine is really the only thing in those cars worth anything. 10 bolt sucks, 4l60/t56 sucks, interior sucks, quality sucks, but damn they look good and are fun to drive!
Lol.... Well! They are alot of ppl that wouldn't pay 40+ for a certain car but I will pay more for a Camaro than any other car . What car would you pay 40+ for ?

There are bad cars on both side...and among them are good cars. Fantastic cars. Many many fantastic cars on both sides.

Don't own either anymore but the 5th gen looks 10 times better than the 6th. I can't get over how the 6th gen looks. Nothing special about it IMO. But performance wise, the 6th gen hands down. Would be nice to have the best of both worlds.

I love my 5th gen SS. If I was going to upgrade it would be a low mileage z/28 or zl1. Not a 6th gen.
The 5th gen is just such a great looking vehicle. The 16’s are not bad, but just don’t do it for me. The new 19’s really took a step backwards.

The 6th gen has never really taken off. It blends in with most cars on tbe road. When you see a 5th gen people know its a Camaro....6th gen gets the wtf car is that stare. The 19 just made a bland looking car worse.

Absolutely agree.

This ever gets wrecked, I’ll be looking for a 2013 ZL-1 convertible since she doesn’t want another Corvette. I could be tempted by a Mercedes convertible too.

I'm a 5thGen lover. They lost me when they removed the (69-design queued) gills from the rear quarter panels.

The 5th gen is leaps and bounds better looking than the 6th gen. It more of a substantial looking car than the 6th gen as well. Sure, performance is a lot better on the 6th gen, but the styling leaves a lot to be desired.

Personally, I think GM should have done a retro 2nd gen F-body design instead of regurgitating a slightly smaller more pinched in 5th gen look for the current 6th gen. It seems sales are proving this over the long term. You can't redo perfection.

With the facelifted '19's now coming out, especially the SS models, the 6th gen looks to be even more of a styling disaster than the '16-'18's. Yuck!

I'm so grateful I was able to buy a brand new 5th gen when they still made them. It's a modern day classic.
