I'm kinda brand loyal to Toyota... 4 in the last 27 years. It may not seem like many, but they don't die.

Brand Loyalty does exist - my Parents only owned Mercury's & Volvos
I use Honda/Acura for my Daily Drivers I use Porsche for my Race Cars |

My grandfather drove Chevrolets and my father drove them so it was only natural that I followed. I briefly got into VW and Audi and I also had a nice BMW 3, fun car. I've also always driven Chevy trucks of various years that I picked up used. My current DD is a Cobalt that refuses to die, currently at 191,000 miles. I use it for my long work commute and it saves me a lot of gas money vs the Camaro and our Tahoe. I'll probably drive it one more year before looking at a new truck, I'll probably end up with a big gas hog, but I'm tired of tailgaters.
At 191,000 the only parts that failed so far, the backup light switch and the heater control knob which didn't fail, it just got scratchy from being turned on and off thousands of times. Still has original clutch and brakes, doesn't burn a drop of oil. |

The rwd LS3 SS was your modern Impala SS, and it's sales flopped. I don't see them reinventing either in the future.

Same here. I have had 4 in the last 36 years. Just got rid of my 2001 4Runner 4x4 after 17.5 years. I have been driving Toyota 4x4’s as my daily drivers since 1982. Just bought a new TRD Pro 4Runner to replace my ‘01. They are awesome.

That is one frickin awesome SUV. I wanted one, but she vetoed it as it wasn’t practical for what I needed so I got a new CR-V.

CR-V is a very good car. I got my wife a new Ford Edge a couple of years ago. It’s been very good so far. Just like you, the regular SUV’s aren’t our style. We have an image to maintain. Lol
