Conducting MPG test
I filled up today ad for this whole tank of gas i will be going strictly the speed limit. 98% of my driving is highway. I drive 80 miles round trip. It is a manual trany and all shifts will be done between 2500 and 3000. 25-29 3rd gear 30-40 4th gear 41-50 5th gear and 60 and above will be 6th. Speeds will not exceed 65..Now the results of this test will be judged on the actual amount of miles i get out of this tank of gas. I will mark at what mile the 40 mpg low fuel warning comes on at and i will run the car to empty to see just how many miles it will get. This wil also see how accurate the starting estimated range is. Starting range is 397..... 38 miles into test. Current Average mgs: 28

Good luck ... You have better self control than I do. I have a hard time shifting into 3rd before I hit at least 50 ...

They said it all, impressive self control. Im interested in these results! keep us posted! idk how windy it is in Ohio, but yesterday, i was driving 14 miles at 60 MPH, into a 31 mph sustained head wind. I think they miiigght have a littttle effect on our cars with a .37 drag coefficient. haha
