Here is the best thing to do;

On a sunny day, fully wash and wax you camaro. Clean your interior too. Insert your favorite CD. I might recommend Led Zeppelin 1-4, AC/DC Dirty Deeds, Black Sabbath, or maybe Metallica Master of Puppets, get on the freeway headed to your local public beach or "hang out". Put the peddle down, stash the gears, and roll. Upon arriving at said hang out, insert your favorite "chick music" CD, I'd recommend AC/DC, Zeppelin or Metallica (lol) and roll down the windows whilst driving slowly. Be sure to smile and charm any lovely lasses that may spark your fancy. We'll see who gives a F about some dude in a Camery.

But realty, if you want a little more zip, check out the bolt on section. There isn't a hell of a lot for the LFX yet, but they are starting to pop up.

My guess is that he is 16 prolly raced someone else car and it kept up and was prolly a camry or family car of sorts and he got all mad about it. Nothing wrong with wanting to mod ur car but if u cant afford an SS how are u affording mods for this car most arent too cheap.

I would recommend a cold air intake, new cat-back exhaust, and possibly long-tube headers. You can easily add 30-40 HP with not too much effort. Mods are half the fun!

I know you said dont say it but your comparing a light weight 250 hp v6 to a heavy 315hp v6. its very close.
if you were looking for more power.... you know the rest...
its crazy to me the power the v6's today put out. my 89 formula was 185... my buick lucerne had more than that.. isnt that a kick in the nuts lol...
there are things you can do... but short of adding 120HP...
But it sure does look a hell of a lot better than anything toyota has, or ever will make

And second read first , lol I said these mods are for down the road. So my plans are waiting to see mods for Lfx engine for v6. If that's not the case I will upgrade to a v8 muscle.

I have a Camry for a commuter. The only place i get respect in that thing is at the gas pump. It will never come close to my Camaro SS.

Sucks to tell you this but I'm 19 and "that generation" is mostly OUR generation. Were it not for the Transformers movies, most of the kids in our generation wouldn't know what the hell a camaro is.

Heck I've been in the car with friends and have them say "oh look at that piece of crap!" and I then tell them that's a 3rd generation camaro. Sure it doesn't look too nice as is, but it's a camaro and they wouldn't know a damn thing otherwise.

Our generation sucks sometimes, lol.....

Dude you should definitely want a V6 then. Screw having an SS in NYC, I probably couldn't afford to drive my SS there, lol!
