Bingo

I have bought top of the line parts and ebay parts in the past and IMO as long as the part fits, there will be no difference in performance/durability. But hey, it is your money.

I put Kooks headers on my '13 1LE along with high flow cats. Hooked the cats up to my factory NPP exhaust and had no issues what so ever!!! Got the package for a great price.

OP also understand when you add LTs to NPP your car will be much louder even with the flaps closed. And the sound you get is not everyone's cup of tea.

What makes them better quality for an extra 9 dollars?

Much better welds for one. Or a warranty. Or maybe a collector merge spike. Oh better flanges! Any of those are sure worth more than a 10 dollar bill.

And there have been fitment issues with OBX in the past most notably with steering shaft clearance.

I'm not saying OBX's are crap and worthless. I have a set on my GTO. But comparing then to SP/SW headers that are darn near the same price... That's just plain silly.

2014 Red Hot 2SS 1LE, SP LT headers and HF Cats, CAI intake, lots little crap here and there.

2005 Laguna Blue Matte GTO, RMR CF body Kit, Banshee hood, OBX LT headers, HF Cats, Vararam OTR intake, little crap on this ride too.

The OBX have a limited life time guarantee, they have a collector merge spike. Dont know about the flanges, cant see any bad with the flanges on my obx set though, the welds look perfect also, looks really sharp. The fitment issues I believe are from car to car, depending on engine placement in relation to the steering shaft. But that goes with ANY brand.
I just think its plain silly to bad talk products because of personal preference. SP/SW headers are great, but so are OBX. Its like comparing adidas with nike or levis with wrangler. We all have our personal preferences!
