There are pros and cons to EACH system. We have installed ALL of them and have seen dyno results and IAT results as well. Don't forget another important factor and that is the engine temp as well. Larger radiators and difference fan shrouds help the overall temp. double passing a different heat exchanger works well too as does electric fans for faster recovery times between runs even at stop lights or staging lines.
