Hey guys,
I just bought my wife and I a 2010 Camaro SS. I am going to be doing some simple mods to start with but I am eventually going to be doing some things that are over my capability.
Is there any performance shops that are recommended in the Florence or surrounding areas that you guys would recommend.
Also, any clubs in the area as well.

Congrats on the new ride!

I would suggest Heintz Racing in Mooresville, NC.

They do pick-up and deliver for a small fee as well.

I do not believe there are any LS shops directly in that area. Mooresville and Charleston are probably the closest.

I am at Darlington all the time. Hope to you see there some time.

What is the RX Catch Can for? Is it for the steam generated by the LS engines?

Rocket, when do you go to darlington. I used to go out there back in the day when I used to race motorcycles. I would love to go again and see some gen5 camaro's running the strip

Depending on weather, I will likely be there for the next test n tune. I missed this past weekend due to some club obligations. They do a great job of keeping up with the track. I just wish they would clean-up the shut-down area and return road.

I need to get some practice in before I decide which races to run this year.

Darlington keeps their site pretty well updated and will even post Friday night if they plan to open on Saturday with the current weather.

Anything for you guys

Is the little turbo up and running yet?

We will need to get the car scheduled to come in after Bradenton assuming you guys are going. I have not decided yet on Bradenton. I will make Commerce and hopefully the rest of the season. If I am going to the LS events, I need to find a trailer this year.

Shes up and running, just hibernating. Waiting on the track to open back up to start some testing. We got one hit on it before the track closed on low boost and with a poor 1.48 60' she went 6.00@118 to the 1/8th. The little engine/turbo that could made a little power...

We will be at all the LSX events this year starting in Bradenton.
