Free Air Mod - Cut Hole in Air Box
Anyone Ever try a free air mod? I havent even opened the box yet, I'd like to keep the stock filter and was just wondering if a free air mod would help low end performance? Search turned up nothing

Cutting a hole in the factory air box will cause your engine to ingest HOT air from the engine bay which is exactly what you DO NOT want. Large amounts of cool dense air is what your engine needs to make more power.

Interesting, but I doubt it work that well. Stock air box looks like something out of a bad horror movie that has really ugly aliens. Air flow would not be smooth and like Chase said, cold is good.
