Maybe for the body only. I'll be very surprised if this sells for under 80k. And it looks like every other Mustang except for the lower front bumper area.

I'll also make a bet that within the first month, well be hearing about engine problems.

I'm glad they stuck with the older style front end and not the new ugly squinty face.

It looks ok. I prefer the 2019 GT350.

This would be their big, bad straight line drag-car, correct?...Probably not much to do with competing with the 1LE or ZL1 1LE, I'm guessing....Looks like the same large tires and wheels all around similar to the Demon...

Good for Mustang....I like it.
Look at the size of the meats front and back...

If you're a straight line monster..you don't really need to worry about having massive rubber out front..

Yes, but that is how the Demon comes stock...all four corners have drag radials that are rotatable to the rears....Front skinnies are optional...In fact they brag about being able to pull a wheelie with the big meats up front...

I was thinking the Mustang would start out with a similar tire set-up, even for the drags...It looks more like a Demon competitor than a 1LE competitor.....But then again, the Mustang does have a lot of aero-bits with that splitter and rear spoiler....We'll see....

Looks exactly like the renders we've seen, they shouldn't have teased until close to reveal at the upcoming Detroit auto show. That's a lot of power, they're going after Hellcat possibly Demon. And maybe benchmark ZL1, but doubt the ZL1 1LE. So will be an exciting car for sure, if it is more street-able than the Demon. Meanwhile GM focuses more on track performance/balance/value. I think team Camaro should make a competitor to these high power vehicles, if not this gen next one. Because consumers find these cars really exciting and they really do care about straight line performance more than anything else.

Anyway, this is going to be at least 90K at any Ford dealer during first several months of production. I wouldn't be surprised if some are near or over 100K. Is certainly going to be an exciting car, and people will play 80-90K for it.

This car is going to look way meaner in person then the GT350. Have no issue with the design, it looks good.

This car will be like a 2013 GT500 on steroids with a weight reduction and a IRS.

Thats what I was thinking too.

Probably a 57/43 weight bias.

For the I gotta have it first crowd, dealer ‘privilege’ price will be ~125k...

Would not surprise me the least...

It’s not officially known but I’ve seen a lot of rumors of 4000-4200 lbs curb weight.

Zero chance it's lighter than a GT.

If it matches the weight of the ZL1, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
