Also, I just got in November my 2012 2ss 45th with 55k miles on it for 19k. Lots of worthwhile differences in a 2012 vs a 2010. Having had both I can attest. But, at the same time I don’t see anything wrong with the price of this one like someone else said. I paid 24k for my 2010 3 years ago with 10k miles on it. So I don’t think saying the car is a 23 or 24k car all day and the fact that it’s 19 means something is wrong with it necessarily...

well 26,911 is not the worst. If i remember correctly, the starter/battery cable problem affected cars with vin #14,000 and lower i believe and the output shaft issue was vins #20,000 and lower (i might be wrong. a quick search on this forum will get you accurate info)

So much paranoia here. I've got #305 build and haven't had any problems after 57k miles. I would get a car fax, have it checked by a good mechanic and give it a good romp of a test drive and go for it. That's a good price.

A matter of perspective if you will. 'Something wrong' with these cars is easily fixed on these cars and for many its called 'opportunity'. Ya never want anything wrong with your car for sure, but these cars are so easy to work with and so cut and dry, that no issue is really 'too much' to handle.

Feel it out... it needs to go straight and it needs to go fast. Note that you may not be getting everything out of it just test driving due to possibly lower fuel octanes typically used by dealers. There's an easy fix for that too but you really can't do it until you buy it, or at least hold on to it for a couple of days.

Check for unwanted vibrations - idling and driving, check that it accelerates smoothly - take it up to 5-6k RPM and listen/feel... check for loud lifter/rocker ticks, even though some is normal.

That's a good price for a '10 2SS/RS... except for the color (not a fan of yellow). With good care it will last you a long time.

129.9k miles on mine... no oil pump failure (knocking on wood), no battery cable issue, no output shaft issue (auto's only??), no real major issues - except that at around 80k miles, one of my rockers on cylinder 3 broke. No idea why... just a bad casting perhaps?? Service could not tell me why... I took it in to Allen Cadillac in Laguna Niguel and 48hrs later I was on the road again like it never happened.

These are great cars... go get you one!

AutoCheck is clean, 2 owners.

Shows current owner has a lien, make sure that he has title in hand with a lien release from the bank

Honestly bro I wouldnt buy it.
I had to look. Hard to believe that a clean, low mile 2010 is only $4K less to a private party than a like 2015 2SS RS with all the options. But that is indeed the case. I was hoping the end of the developmental cycle 2015 Gen5 was worth more. Guess they hold there value pretty well. What did yalls 2010s cost new? I paid $43K in July of 2015. : /
